Condolence: Dear Davis family, “If a man dies, can he live again?” asked the man Job long ago. (Job 14:14) Perhaps you, too, have wondered about this. How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions? Well, the Bible makes the promise: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up.” And the Bible also says: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” (Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29) May you find hope and comfort in knowing that soon our merciful God will bring your loved ones back.

Condolence: Dear Davis family, I want to offer my condolences and to assure you of a wonderful hope that the bible offers. The bible makes the promise of a resurrection at Acts 24:15. It also tells us that death will be no more. (Revelation 21:4) You can believe this because God is the creator of life and he is certainly capable of restoring it. He has resurrected people in the past and is eager to do it again. (Job 14:14,15) He will resurrect them here to the earth and you can see them again without having to die. (Psalm 37:29) My hope is that you take comfort in these promises and that it can in some way ease your pain at this time.
